. L'éros et la mort dans l'œuvre de Marcel Proust
  • Author: Sehler (Toni Ricco)
  • Abstract: This article offers a queer reinterpretation of three literary phenomena that overcome established categories. While incest in the “drame du coucher” violates paternal law, sexual inversion counters heteronormativity. By examining the interest shown by Proust in vanilla, we will see how he allows us to consider, based on the plant kingdom, the possibility of a non-binary gender, or initial hermaphroditism.
