Abstract: The article focuses on reflections on the nature of the evocations of moralist knowledge that are incorporated in the Proustian work. However, our research does not intend to simply identify the traces of this knowledge, but aims at revealing the Proustian way of employing this knowledge in his work and to show the effects of this treatment on the constitution of the knowledge itself.
