  • Abstract: At the crossroads of literary history, religious history, and the history of intellectual and ­cultural exchanges (in particular book history, the history of scholarship and the history of controversy), this special issue explores the relationship and interactions between Bossuet and England. The articles explore several key aspects of ­Bossuet’s relationship with England, from his dialogue with the English people of his time to the reception of Bossuet in seventeenth-century England.
