Abstract: Based on the database SERMO implemented by the University of Neuchâtel, this article explores in the long run the syntactic and lexical consistencies and evolutions in the Protestant language, both in the sermons themselves and in Biblical quotations they contain (with a particular emphasis on the use of Psalms).
