Bertrand’s and Célestine’s correspondence and the sale of the six letters written to David d’Angers by Bertrand at the end of the nineteenth century
Abstract:La Bibliographie romantique et iconographique by Joseph Dumas contains the original letters exchanged between the collector and the experts who sold him some of Bertrand’s manuscripts, including six missives to David. The collector also specifies the origin of Bertrand’s letters to Célestine, of which he was in possession.
