Abstract: The time of building is not the same as the one of writing, of poetry. Yet both influence each other. This exchange is all the more interesting when it concerns a period of transition that marks the shift from Flamboyant Gothic to Renaissance. Also, the discovery of flamboyant decorations in the castle of Bissy de Pontus de Tyard raises the question of a possible medieval influence on it in the context of the poets of the Pleiade.
