Abstract: Althought « contemplative life puts of acting », Rousseau, in order to defend himself and his works, had to instruct his century’s trial ; as to the Solitary Walker, daydreams and meditations does not prevent his attention to the City : a political reading of Rousseau juge de Jean Jaques and the Rêveries.
