Des Azolains au Débat de Folie et d’Amour L’« invention d’un lecteur »

  • Publication type: Article from a collective work
  • Collective work: Paroles dégelées. Propos de l’Atelier xvie siècle
  • Author: Perona (Blandine)
  • Abstract: By bringing together the Euvres de Louïze Labé Lionnoize (Lyon, Jean de Tournes, 1555) and the third edition of the translation of the Azolains by Jean Martin (Lyon, Guillaume Rouillé, 1552), this article examines what can underpin the choice of one model of classical dialogue rather than another. The clarity of the Ciceronian dialogue in the Azolains provides a number of elements which allow us to decipher the Lucianesque complexity of the Débat, and to specify its neo-Platonic interpretation.
