Abstract: Second in the series of « A.R. »’s « Conneries » in the Album zutique (1871), the sonnet « Paris » in certain respects bears a striking similarity to the sonnet "Un amas confus de Maisons..." by the burlesque poet Scarron who died two centuries earlier.
