Abstract: The recently digitized sources of the Acta Pacis Westphalicae allow for deeper insights into the language of diplomacy. The French corpus of the APW documents the intensive exchange of letters between the French ambassadors in Germany and the Parisian government, dating from 1643 to 1648.
