Abstract: The novelistic scene is a hybrid creature, born of both dramatic mimesis and novelistic mimesis. The increase of scenes with dialogue, the use of direct discourse, and the visual dimension of the episodes exist in tension with the retrospective narrative of the first person. In reality, scenes are subordinated to the tale, and are, above, all the object of multiple tales and moments of illumination.
