  • Abstract: The linguistic terminology pertaining to neology is vast but sometimes lacunary, with ambiguities and terms with more than one meaning. In this paper a number of generally recent terms and concepts will be examined from several complementary viewpoints: the conditions in which these terms appeared, their different phases, their morphosemantic aspects, the shortenings which produced them and their relations with other languages (loans and their equivalents).
