Abstract: Conscious of the historical stakes proper to the current voluntary redundancy of literature, Nathalie Quintane has chosen not to privilege a generalist system of public intervention (performance) which would have labelled her further. Having long been marked by and long borrowed (in the text) from diverse forms of performativity (visual arts, rock), her works (notably the most recent) re-launch the possibility of the text as a mode of belief and thus action.
