Abstract: André Malraux is the first French writer to have considered terrorism, its psychology, and its effects, introducing it into his account of revolutionary wars as well as in his last speeches. The article aims to establish Russian, historical and novelistic sources in the representation of the figures of terrorism in Malraux’s work and, in particular, in this light, his reaction to Russian writers such as Dostoevsky, Shestov and Savinkov.
