Abstract: Louise Colet, seeking to establish her authorial stance, made a name for herself in the genre of the travel narrative. This genre consists of writing a complex text with multiple substrates that is supposed to give an account of a travel experience and, above all, from a digressive perspective, to offer a series of self-reflexive or parenetic reflections intended to please readers, but also and above all to instruct them on their condition, on how to reform and transform themselves.
