Abstract: Boudou’s acquaintance with the troubadours is dual, between a faithful quotation of medieval texts and a criticism of their interpretation in the 20th century. His lyrical and fictional writing is a reconsideration of research studies on the troubadours produced in the contemporary occitan movement.
