Abstract: In her numerous publications, Aphrodite Sivetidou uncovers the silence hidden at the heart of each word, and the notion of hybidrisation as a means of fertilising literary genres. A specialist in French and Greek theatre, she is interested in the whole process of production on the European stage. She shows how meaning, which blossoms in the context of the imaginary, is created on stage with the help of the spectator, activated and deferred in order to be fully recovered.
