Abstract: Drawing on his own staging of tragedies, Damianos Konstantinidis presents his point of view on the staging problems specific to ancient theatre. Putting actualisation and archaeological reconstitution to one side, two elements inherent to the exterior aspect of the spectacle, he privileges the comprehension of the text, the recognition of points in common, and the acceptance of difference.
