Abstract: The study examines some aspects of the work of three American economists, D. North, J. Stiglitz and P. Krugman which took their distances with respect to the discourses and practices being likely to discredit their scientific ideal. Unfortunately, these authors rediscover the political question without really taking the way for the political economy. In prolongation, the study discusses the recent theses supported by Pierre Dockès in connection with the fear of globalization.
