Abstract: After focusing on the link between “dictionary”, “economy” and “business”and touching on some of the different freedoms and constraints to whichlexicographers, publishers and the public are subject, in this article wehave therefore tried to draw someone of these "snapshots" and proposed ashort analysis of the choices linked to the macrostructure and themicrostructure of four dictionary entries by comparing them diachronicallyand synchronously.
