Abstract: The dictionary under review, edited by Jérôme Garcin, presents all French-speaking contemporary writers in an autobiographical format, one that respects three essential components of the genre: third-person narration, brevity, and seriousness of purpose. The aforementioned terms reflect the author’s commitment to include information from the authors themselves. Arranged alphabetically, the entries are written in an informal register and according to a predetermined pattern.
