  • Abstract: In the field of the mediatization of history, this paper studies how advertising statements participate in social history. It analyses an episode of the radio program “In the heart of the History” (Europe 1) dedicated to the “Cult Brands and Advertisement” and examines the mobilising modalities of advertising statements to show that the mediation of historic knowledge is based on the ways reported memory statements circulate.
