Abstract: This paper studies two structures of represented speech in the context of homodiegetic oral narratives from the ESLO corpus. The analysis shows the influence of those structures on the enunciative and temporal reinterpretation of the event into a narrative. Firstly, forms of RIA (Representation of Other Interactions) establish links between the locutor/narrator and its audience. Secondly, forms of DRAAA (Self-Addressed Autophonic Represented Speech) show the existence of connections between the context of the narrative and that of the interaction.
