Abstract: Writer from the Mayenne bocage, Jean-Loup Trassard was very interested in hollow roads, whose origin is ancient and whose present is threatened. In particular, he devotes a long text to them, “A mirror of ruts”, between observation, memory and daydreaming. Published in the “Le Chemin” collection by Georges Lambrichs, this text resonates with the very title of this emblematic collection of literature which, in the 1960s and 1970s, sought an original path on the fringes of the avant-gardes.
