Abstract: Taking the form of an interdisciplinary study, at the crossroads of poetry and science, of double parallelism, this article shows how Raymond Roussel successfully reformed poetic language and the traditional codes in literature in favor of a scientistic representation of the visible. The implicit metaphor of movement transports meaning from one field to another, holding together an ordered framework of versification and of fiction.
