Abstract: In the spring of 2010, fifteen French writers embark aboard the Trans-Siberian, on the France-Russia year. From this experience will be born six books signed by Mathias Énard, Dominique Fernandez, Sylvie Germain, Maylis de Kerangal, Olivier Rolin and Danièle Sallenave. These travels in Space, time and literature exemplify the properties of Romantic travel books while accommodating geopolitical, ecological and cultural considerations about Russia today.
