Abstract: Prince Albert I of Monaco was an important figure in the Dreyfus affair. On 3 July 1899, he published a letter he had just sent to Lucie Dreyfus in Le Figaro. The publication of this letter triggered violent reactions. What dimensions of antisemitism and anti-Dreyfusism does this reveal here ? What role do these letters play in the expression of Dreyfusard positions ?
