Occulter son nom entre stratégie et préoccupationLa construction d’une identité d’auteur chez un philosophe des Lumières : Ferdinando Galiani (1728-1787)
Abstract: This article analyzes the different functions of dissimulation in Ferdinando Galiani (1728-1787) as well as the discourse that he establishes about his practices of occultation. The study of the different procedures of camouflage that he uses reveals how deceit is a strategy through which he aims to establish his fame by spurring the curiosity of the public. Moreover, the dissimulation of his name allows him to attribute his works to himself or reject them depending on the circumstances.
