Abstract: In the work of the Ligurian poet Camillo Sbarbaro (1888-1967), the collection Trucioli (« Shavings ») represents the stage of transgression of the traditional genres but also and especially of generic hybridisation. In this book, Sbarbaro breaks down the barriers between prose and poetry, and his writing is now under the influence of new models, among which in the first place is the frammento vociano. The overall fragmentism that characterises Sbarbaro’s style in Trucioli contributes to blur the boundaries between the genres.
