Abstract: This Construction History editorial proposes developing an analysis of the processes of creation of a work through design or materializing ideas. This theme offers new perspectives on the priority of collective practices of design, like those on worksites, over theory and could be developed through the literature but also through innovations. In this light, analysis of the local context of construction remains to be prioritized.
