Abstract:The Real Life of Sebastian Knight, Vladimir Nabokov’s first novel in English, is an interpretative conundrum which invites (and maybe forces) its reader to solve a series of narrative problems. This paper tries to explore these problems in order to demonstrate the eerie complexity of a seemingly straightforward fiction.
