Abstract: Rosanna Brusegan approaches secondary orality by analysing spatial deixis in a selection of fabliaux where speech, associated with other deictic processes, describes a performance space in a burlesque or parodical manner. In the three fabliaux examined, discursive entities (speaker, interlocutor) appear at various levels, working as a metaphor of the creative act.
