Abstract: Understanding the integrated approach which is implied in a play like Les Parfums de l’âme, in which the author, director, actors, perfumer, and diffuser must work together, necessitates an assessment of its public reception. The aim of this article is to study the reception of Parfums de l’âme based on surveys carried out over the course of successive performances.
