Abstract: Despite the title of the series, the Bonus Material reveals that the authors of Babylon 5 know next to nothing about Babylon, relying on clichés. Classical Antiquity fares slightly better, but there is basically nothing Greek or Roman in Babylon 5 we do not also find in Star Trek.
