Abstract: This article reconsiders the ambiguous part Tzvetan Todorov’s theory played in the fantastic literature in Latin America and introduces, from Anna María Barrenechea response, a reflexion on the relationship between the delimitation of the critical corpus and stakes of the literary theory.
