Abstract: This essay examines Koffi Kwahulé’s works in light of the concept of intermediality (in theater plays and novels). Based on the writer’s consistent use of intermedial means to weave creatively the fabric of his works, this essay defines his most salient dramatic or literary categories, including doubling. One notable trait of this particular paradigm is the recurrence, at different levels, of self-reflexive representations of the creative process of writing itself.
