Abstract: This study takes Hocquenghem’s analysis of the disappearing links between marginality and homosexuality as its point of departure. For both him and Copi, the critique of the transformation of the categories of homosexuality is done through fiction and a celebration of the « queen ». How can fiction contribute to a deconstruction of sexual identity and, more precisely, how can fiction enable the « queen » to escape from what is considered to be the normalisation of homosexual identity ?
