  • Author: Barbéris (Isabelle)
  • Abstract: Too often essentialized, democracy in fact responds to variable and evolving imaginary structures, within which the notion of representation, also central to the performing arts, moves. This article tries to take a look at democratic theoretical fictions (at Dewey, Habermas, Rawls, Mouffe...), before analysing a precise version of them, through the case of General Assembly, and Milo Rau.
