. Écrire pour la scène (xve-xviiie siècle)
  • Author: Koopmans (Jelle)
  • Abstract: This article recalls the difficulties of assessing “writing for the stage” in the case of short pieces from the thirteenth to the fifteenth century, as well as the problematic status of authors and farcical texts in the sixteenth century. It then goes on to examine the overlooked topic of plural writings inspired by farces written in Middle French: collaborative writing, multiple versions of a farce, and the problems of interpretation arising from this phenomenon.
