Abstract: Among the typical gestures of haptic interfaces, some gestures are related to the surveillance of others, others to the surveillance of oneself, and others to the authorization of the surveillance of oneself. On the basis of an approach of surveillance in the frames of the visibility, the recording and the trace, we suggest a pragmatic approach of the screen gestures through the prism of the issues of the digital surveillance.
