Abstract: The innovations developed to deal with the climate challenges of our century raise several questions in terms of ecological and environmental footprint but also regarding the appropriation of new transition technologies by households with very varied socio-economic realities and digital skills. The literature on services provides interesting issues on public participation in the context of energy transition.
