Abstract: This article revisits the question of the natural contract at the epoch of modernity, before looking at platforms to show that the digital economy is a break within a continuity, that of the productivist economy, which therefore does not meet contemporary ecological issues. He concludes the need for a degrowth or even a collapsology of the digital.
