Abstract:Études digitales met with anthropologist Paul Jorion. The originality of his journey led him from markets in West Africa to trading rooms, from work on artificial intelligence to a reflection on the scientific emergence of notions of truth and reality. He has become known for his analyses of the economic crisis of high-frequency trading. Here he retraces his intellectual itinerary and questions our modernity and its possibilities.
