Abstract: This issue offers a cross-section of philosophy, sociology and political science on radicalization, a complex process that raises the problem of the legitimization of violence. The difficulties for the State to understand the stakes of this phenomenon are analyzed through the analysis of public policies. The philosophical part offers a conceptual critique of issues of religion, violence and citizenship.
