Abstract: This study proposes a perfectionist reading of Gaston Bachelard, seeking to articulate the notion of “good life”, understood as the “promotion of existence”, with the practice of exercises allowing a concrete transformation of the individual, within the horizon of a coherent pluralism of lifestyles.
