PresidenT
It has been a privilege and pleasure to serve as International President of the ICLS since July 2016. I thank the immediate past International President, Richard Trachsler, for his years of valuable service to our organization. It was a joy to work with him.
The ICLS continues to increase its global visibility and I appreciate all the work of our members to insure our success. I especially thank Beverly Evans who is working hard as Editor of Encomia to publish the bulletin in a timely fashion. Moreover, Tamara Bentley Caudill has done a great job developing a new international website for the society. Please see her work at http://iclsweb.org/. The society continues its active participation in our field by sponsoring sessions at various conferences around the world.
Our next triennial congress takes place at the University of Exeter, July 22–27, 2019. We extend our sincere thanks to Emma Cayley, International Vice-President of the ICLS, for hosting and organizing this congress in a beautiful and historic location. I look forward to seeing everyone soon in Exeter.
Logan Whalen
International President, ICLS
