Abstract: This article discusses the extent to which non-Latins entered the nobility of the Lusignan Kingdom of Cyprus, established after the conquest of Cyprus in 1191 from Byzantium. The Armenians, with previous cases of intermarriage with the Latin nobles in the Kingdom of Jerusalem, were most successful in entering the nobility of Lusignan Cyprus before the destruction of the Kingdom of Cilician Armenia in 1375. Greeks, Syrians and Circassians were less successful in entering the nobility.
