• Abstract: The concept of “narrative weaving” reveals how points of view, temporalities and levels of reality intersect in The Break, leading to the construction of a double investigation. Firstly, a complex narrative structuring, based on memories and testimonies, allows the victim's line of action before his death to be mapped. This then unveils a second mystery concerning the inspector, which had been concealed by a period of amnesia forming a “hole” in the narrative.
