Abstract: Only believers in the rapid burial of myths would be surprised to rediscover the main actors of Prison Break in 2017 and, notably, its hero Michael Scofield, who died at the end of season 4. Season 5 questions the possibility of a tragic reading of the series through the theme of false resurrection. The alliance of the soap opera principle (following a story over a period of time) and the serial device (finding the same situations and actions) reveal a memorial reading of the series.
