Abstract: À mon seul désir (2014), a work by Gaëlle Bourges which brings to life La Dame à la licorne, this set of six medieval tapestries where a young virgin stands alongside abundant fauna and flora, invites to a curious experience. The article is interested in the modes of appearance of the image, which, through an oscillation between reference and presence, gives rise to an original perception.
